Sustainability
We make a concious effort and always will to ensure the materials used for both our product and its packaging are sustainable and environmentaly friendly.
Packaging
Our postal packaging is 100% plastic free. Our postal boxes are made from unbleached cardboard. Our sticky tape is 100% recycleable and both acid free/vegan friendly. We also use unbleached 100% cotton muslin bags that can be kept for your own use or to keep your jewellery protected.
Our thank you note is made using handmade paper. The paper is made in the high rural, high altitude villages of Nepal using the bark of a Lokta shrub. The paper is then carried down the Himilayas using traditional paths and pack animals for transport. A lot nicer than commercially made paper that's treated with bleach and other harmful chemicals.
Our Story
My imagination flourished during my trip to Australia back in 2019, where I was captivated by Sydney’s beaches’ minimalist and modern style. But it was when I found myself swooning over beautiful sterling silver jewellery stalls at Sydney’s markets that I had a brain wave to set something up myself.
After returning from my travels down under, my dream soon became a reality. A 12-week silversmithing course and a few lockdowns later, my skills began to improve and I fell in love with every aspect of jewellery making.
Using sterling silver and solid gold, I create classic styles that take us from season to season. Dedicated to detail and bringing love and attention into each design, I make every piece to order.
What is Daint Jewellery
Daint Jewellery is a North East brand that creates high quality, minimalist designs inspired by clean lines and delicate shapes. Our jewellery beautifully captures a modern and timeless style.
I believe jewellery is a beautiful extension of ourselves and should be worn to tell a story. I make all jewellery by hand, with the intention that it can last a lifetime.
